SENIOR MOVE MANAGEMENT
The National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM) is the leading membership organization for Senior Move Managers in the United States, Canada and abroad. NASMM’s mission is to facilitate the physical and emotional aspects of relocation for older adults, and the organization is recognized for its innovative programs and expertise.
NASMM's A+ Accreditation represents the highest level of professional achievement that can be awarded to a Senior Move Management company, and Clear Home Solutions is the only NASMM A+ Accredited in the Los Angeles area. This accreditation demonstrates our organization's substantial conformance to NASMM standards.
Our CEO Marty Stevens-Heebner was the first Certified Senior Move Manager (SMM-C) in the nation. This credential from NASMM is the only certification program designed exclusively for Senior Move Managers and also is the only relocation certification based upon both knowledge and experience.
Expertise named Clear Home Solutions as one of the best home organizers in Los Angeles in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. After scoring home organizers across five categories - Reputation, Credibility, Availability and Responsiveness, Professionalism and Experience .
The National Association of Professional Organizers’ Golden Circle recognizes members who’ve attained an elevated level of experience. It’s awarded to those who’ve been in the business of organizing for at least 5 years.
The Institute for Challenging Disorganization provides education, research and strategies to benefit people challenged by chronic disorganization, which poses an ongoing problem and undermines, often severely, an individual’s quality of life. Our CEO Marty Stevens-Heebner is an ICD Specialist in the areas of Hoarding, AD/HD and Chronic Disorganization.
AGING IN PLACE
The Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation program was developed by the National Association of Home Builders in collaboration with Home Innovation Research Labs, and AARP. Many older home owners would like to “age-in-place,” which means making a home safe and comfortable so one can live there independently, regardless of age or mobility level.
Our CEO Marty Stevens-Heebner is also a NASMM@Home specialist. This certificate program provides special training in the fundamentals of aging in place, including universal design, home safety and home modifications, as well as other tools and resources needed to effectively assist clients to safely remain in their homes.
